How to Turn On or Off Notifications of Gmail Account

Want to see Gmail messages instantly then it’s time to turn on your account notification. Actually, you can get email notifications on your browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari etc. after signed in to your account.
Steps to on or off notification: 


Step 1: Open Gmail account

Step 2: From the top right corner-> click on icon Settings   -> opt Settings

Step 3: Scroll down the page till you found the option Desktop notifications.

Step 4: Select option “New mail notifications on” to turn notification it notify you when any new email arrives in your inbox.

Step 5: Choose “Mail notifications off” if you don’t want to see any notification further.

Step 6: From the bottom of the current screen, click on the Save Changes.
Note: In case you use inbox categories and then turned on new mail notifications, then you will get only get reports about email in the Primary category.
